At NZ Honey Group, we have over 10 years of extraction experience. Our extraction facility has the capability to extract up to 30,000 boxes during our session. Every step of the process is documented and tracked. From when you drop off your honey, right the way through until it is drummed off and tested. Each step is entered into our secure in-house honey management software enabling total transparency and accountability to our beekeepers. Your information is kept private and confidential and our goal is to always provide you with the very best service standards.

How it all works?
HARVEST REPORT
We provide you a full harvest report for the seasons honey collection. This report shall include any payments and any amounts due for hive placements.
MEET UP & DISCUSSION
We will meet with you to discuss your harvest report and answer any questions that you may have. We will agree payment terms, if any and finalise any improvements we can make for future plans.
INVOICING & PAYMENT
We provide you with a pro-forma invoice for your land payments and any top-up that may be required. You then send us a bill for the same value as the pro-forma invoice to us and payment will be made as agreed.

FAQS
Upon acceptance of our purchase offer the company has 14 days in which to pay you in full into your nominated bank account or as otherwise agreed. Generally payment is made within a couple of days.
The free for use is only if the items are returned in the same condition. If they are damaged or not returned at all then they are charged to you at the rate outlined in your extraction agreement. These items are to be signed in and out of the facility each time they are removed and returned.
All of our testing is undertaken by an independent laboratory (Analytica Labs in Hamilton). A sample of each batch is taken mid flow during drumming and is sent off for analysis. We always take 2 samples, in the case that the first sample is compromised.
Testing allows you to be paid fair market value for your honey. Some tests are required by MPI to be able to sell your honey. For more information about your tests please speak to us directly.
